Kate Cooper did an amazing job on my book cover and we’ve had so many lovely comments about it. So we’ve decided to launch a competition to win a beautiful print of the cover art, open to everyone based in Great Britain (excluding Northern Ireland) who pre-orders a copy of Land Beneath the Waves. All you need to do to enter is email a copy of your pre-order receipt to me at: naturewriting@nicwilson.net.

I’ve moved on from crocheting hoopoes to having a go at shepherd’s crowns, which feature in the chapter ‘Chalkbones’. As you can see from the images below, I’ve made a start using a fantastic Vanessa Mooncie design. If it goes well, I’ll throw one in with the cover print for the winner.
